Backerkit has been approved!! We’ve had a bit of a tech nightmare with it, which has caused delays, but backerkit surveys have now been emailed out.
If you have not received yours, please check spam, or double check the email address used with Kickstarter.
We are locking orders October 30, which is in 12 days and charging cards Nov 2. Decks will be arriving (and shipping) mid December (and we've added a sneak peek of the guidebooks below!!)
In the meantime, one of the talented artists who has created gorgeous dragons for us, Carla Morrow, is running a campaign:

Halloween production update!

Hi!
We have approved card proofs for both decks, for both pocket and standard sizes. Following the proofs, we do have a small tweak to make to the guidebooks for both Creatures and Halloween (which will be done soon). When we have a confirmed delivery date, we will update again, and Backerkit surveys will be sent out next month.
In the meantime, we have just launched a new campaign, the Magical Tome of Self Care which Kayti and Trish have been working on for nearly a year! The files are already with the printer for the prototype, and this should be arriving with us around the same time as Halloween...so we will be offering the opportunity to combine shipping for backers of both❤️

Just popping in to say…
All the files are with the printer and they have confirmed everything has been received and is printing printing printing!!
This means we are on target for delivery AND to send surveys out in September.
While we are here, we want to share a wonderful Kickstarter from one of our artists. Ambi Sun, is in the process of funding Tales & Oracles of Eleven - an Anthology and Oracle Deck featuring 44 tales and legends from South East Asia
We are desperate to get this deck for ourselves, and to see it funded.
We'll also be sharing some news very soon about not one but two projects Kayti and Trish are working on for 78 Tarot

Well thanks to almost 1000 of you this campaign has been a roaring success!
Because of your generosity we were able to unlock 3 pay bonuses for our artists - able to pay $125 per illustration. (That is 135 illustrations!).
To thank you, we have some special treats! Everyone who pledged for a deck will be receiving these.
At 83k we added a gorgeous postcard of Elisabeth Alba's Four of Wands card, reminding us that there is always a reason to celebrate!
At 86k we added our second treat to our treat bag! A gorgeous postcard of a very zen Skeleton by Adam Schmidt for our companion Oracle deck - Creatures of the Night!!
At 89k we added a gorgeous postcard of the Empress by Selina Fenech for 78 Tarot Halloween.
At 91k we added our fourth treat to our treat bag! A stunning postcard of Automaton by Alexander Gustafson for 78 Tarot Halloween.
At 94k we added an absolutely gorgeous postcard of Temperance by Amelia Leonards for 78 Tarot Halloween.

So what's Next?
If you have received an email from Kickstarter telling you your pledge has gone through, then you don't have to do a thing! Just sit back and wait for our updates as we go through the process of production. If you haven't received an email please check to see if your card has gone through! Many times there is an issue where you have an old card on foil, or some other simple fix. You have 7 days from the end of the campaign before Kickstarter drops you from the campaign.
If you need to arrange to pay another way at a later date, please reach out to us either here or [email protected] and we will help you out! We understand things come up and we are willing to work with you.
Kickstarter Funds
Kickstarter funds should be hitting our account about 3 weeks from now, at which point we will pay our printer and the decks and books and add-ons will go into production. This printing process should take about 30-40 days to complete. When the printing has been completed and everything has boarded a boat for the USA we will send out surveys. At which point you can add anything you would like from our add-on store. This will include everything in the campaign plus other special items.
China to USA
We never know how long sea travel will take around this time of year. Our best estimate is 30-45 days but it has taken as long as 60 days before. It depends on how much port traffic there is and how long the decks are being inspected by customs. This is why we put the delivery date of your rewards for January 2024 but we will do everything in our power to get them here sooner.

Some of you may or may not know that 78 Tarot turns the big 1-0 in January 2024! That's right, a whole decade of indie publishing! And we are working on a huge surprise. More to come this week...

Oral traditions are an important part of the cultural identity of many South East Asian countries, but their ephemeral state leaves them vulnerable for future generations. By turning them into a book and oracle deck, we hope to ensure that they are not lost or forgotten over time.
This is created by our very own Ambi Sun who created The Sun for 78 Tarot Halloween, as well as the Black Cat card for Creatures of the Night Oracle.
